Watchlist Analyst

Watchlist Analyst Role:
The Watchlist Analyst will work within the SmartSignal Availability and Performance Center (APC) using automated tools to aid in the deployment of SmartSignal EPI*Center projects, review client Watchlist, and assist in the maintenance of SmartSignal supported applications

Major Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of SmartSignal Application Engineers and Project Managers use EPI*Center WorkBench and other tools to deploy applications for clients.
  • Under the guidance of Application Engineers, Project Managers or the APC Manager, review client Watchlists, advise clients about potential emerging problems and maintain their application using WorkBench
  • Become proficient in the use of the EPI*Center WorkBench configuration environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
  • Become proficient in the use of SmartSignal automation tools and procedures
  • Proactively solve problems and implement solutions, tapping on the collective skills of the SmartSignal team as required

Education:

  • Associates Degree minimum in Engineering Technology, IT or Computer Science. Prefer mechanical or industrial background. 

Skills:

  • 3-5 years experience in an engineering environment, e.g., engineering consulting firm, A&E firm, engineering support staff, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of some complex software program such as Pro-Engineer, Matlab, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Experienced with general Microsoft Windows environment
  • Experience with computers and use of software as primary job tools
  • Power generation or refining industry experience a plus
