Customer Monitoring Manager Role:
The Customer Monitoring Manager will have overall responsibility for management of multiple Oil and Gas contracts including the following activities: designing a monitoring solution for the client, improving current monitoring solutions, coaching and tutoring others who maintain those solutions and related services. These Managed Services contracts are handled within the Application Engineering (AppE) department, and the Customer Monitoring Manager will function as an integrated team member in the AppE department and also interfacing directly with clients and guiding Analysts in daily monitoring. The Customer Monitoring Manager will be the primary point of contact for assigned clients, will provide design input on exploration and/or refinery equipment and will have full responsibility for developing and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The Customer Monitoring Manager will work with clients and internal SmartSignal staff by providing technical input and review of potential equipment problems, helping solve problems in design and data feeds and coordinating with other SmartSignal resources to meet the needs of each engagement. The Customer Monitoring Manager will proactively communicate with assigned clients and develop strong relationships across the client’s organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assume overall responsibility for management of assigned PSC Managed Services contracts and some new clients.
- Ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical review, support and analysis, assess and prioritize notification requests. Proactively solve client problems and implement solutions, tapping on the collective skills of the SmartSignal team as required
- Plan and manage client Transition Support.
- Manage engineering requests and execution of SSC related consulting services
- Communication of and adherence to T.E.A.M. (Teamwork, Energy, Accountability, and Mastery)

- Must have several years experience and knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, specifically Refinery operations.
